Denis George English, 83 of Cincinnati passed away September 29, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1941 in Cincinnati the son of the late George and Louise English.
Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Doherty). Loving father of Linda (Randy) Hays and Chris (Jennifer) English. Cherished grandfather of Justin (Kaitlynn) Hays and Rachel Hays. Dear brother of Jerry (Mary Claire) English. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Denis proudly served our country as a member of the US Army during Vietnam. He retired from C.W. Zumbiel Company after 38 years. An Avid reader, Denis had countless books on the Civil War, government and politics. His interest in the Civil War lead him to visit many Civil War battlefields throughout the US.
Interment at Gate of Heaven will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
