Melodie Brewer

Melodie A. Brewer (nee Bates) of Anderson Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on October 7, 2024. Up until the end Melodie (Annie) maintained her overflowing joy, sweet smile, sense of humor, unwavering faith in Christ, and her love of family. She fought valiantly for 22 years with a degenerative disease that eventually robbed her of her mobility, but not her persistent spirit of selflessness. She was best known for the amazing ways she loved us all, whether it be as a wife, mother, in-law, grandmother, aunt, sister, or friend. Not one of us ever doubted her fierce love. She was the beloved wife of Dwight K. Brewer, devoted mother of Matthew (Lisa) Brewer and Elizabeth (Dan) Weber, loving grandmother of Gabrielle, Daryan, and Daniella Brewer and Joshua, Ryan, and Kate Weber, and dear sister of Dixie Hayes, Vic Bates, Randy Bates, and the late Judie Titus and Marcia Metz. Funeral service will be held at the Christian Life Center, 509 Roney Lane, Union Twp., on Thursday, October 10th at 6 pm where friends may visit at the church from 5 to 6 pm.
